Back to: Civics Curriculum Administrator User Guide
Introduction
This Civics Curriculum, created by Wayne Township Adult Education in Indianapolis, Indiana (WTAE), will allow users to interact with, share and copy the provided civics materials and lessons with the express and sole purpose of instructing and preparing English Language Learners or other adult learners for naturalization within their program’s environment. Users are not allowed to reproduce these, or variations of these, materials for profit.
Teachers and administrators are able to edit and create individualized versions of the provided materials to better suit the needs of their students depending on their geographical location, and can apply the general national historical content with little to no modification. The provided materials and lessons are already scaffolded to suit student needs based on their language abilities.
